NEW SACRAMENTAL TABLE ICONS

On Sunday September 17, 2006, three new Icons for Venerating Tables have been blessed by our Clergy. These Icons are work of a professional Greek Orthodox iconographer from Detroit, and they are gifts to our Cathedral from our parishioners.

Icon of Our Lord Jesus Christ is donated to our Church by Ivo and Merica Raskovic with their sons as 2007 St. Sava Kumovi.

Icon of The Most Holy Mother of God is donated to by Pavle and Donna Bielich in memory of their parents Nikola and Donna.

Icon of St. Great Martyr Prince Lazar holding our Ravanica is donated by Alexander and Mary Pavlovich as 2006 Vidovdan Kumovi.

These beautiful and precious new Icons are hand made in Byzantium Style of Iconography, and they are taking place of old Icons that have been in use since the Consecration of Church 40 years ago. The new Icons are matching the wooden Cross donated to our Church by Berar family, work of the same craftsman.
